Here are a few events I have organized featuring Bahian scholars that were funded by the University of Florida School of Music, Center of Latin American Studies, & Center for Arts and Migration. 

This work of organizing, coordinating, translating presentations, and securing funding for events demonstrates my applied approaches of decolonizing the American academy by featuring local scholars and voices who specialize in given topics related to culture, race, ethnicity, gender, history, and music.
